hi! love your completed kitchen! i can totally relate right now since we're planning ours (in brooklyn) and starting in about a month (and blogging it!). so many of your posts i feel like i could have written (planning the tile layout and wondering if i'm crazy to do so, agonizing over a sink and it's edging, debating misty carrera, my world revolving around a cabinet delivery). all of your decisions were spot on perfect. congrats!

jackie--oh the agonizing and the obsessing over minutiae! it's all insanity, but now i love my kitchen so much. good luck with yours! i'll keep up.

Hi pinkroots-

Your kitchen is absolutely amazing! I LOVE it ALL!! I would like to emulate some of your ideas for my tiny 80 sq. foot kitchen in a 1927 Minnesota cottage bungalow. Could you please tell me more about the cabinet finish and color? What is the brand of paint and is it flat? If so, is it hard to keep clean? Thank you! I may have more questions for you in the near future.

spayurdog--Hi there. Sorry I haven't responded in awhile! Thanks for the compliments!

The cabinets came already painted by Rutt, so I did not choose specifically which white. They used Valspar 80 White 10 degree topcoat, Finish #384-1930-10. It has a little sheen to it, it definitely is not flat.

So far they haven't been hard to clean, but I am very vigilant and wipe up anything that I notice instantly. They will of course, show EVERYTHING. But wiping them down has been totally fine.

Hi -
Just found your blog as I was searching for ideas for my kitchen remodel. Thank you for posting all of the trials and tribulations - I feel much smarter as a result of reading about your experiences. Your kitchen is absolutely beautiful!!

After living with it for a year now, are there any choices you would have changed?

Thanks.
